Downsizing

I'm downsizing my life. No, I'm not getting rid of any kids. I've decided that my life is too hectic and I need to make some changes. I'm giving up a few things and changing some schedules for summer. Each kid will still have their one summer activity but hopefully I won't be running from meeting to meeting or juggling work schedules so much. More on that later. I really need to concentrate on being a better mom and wife and Christian. It's not about what the world sees, it's about what's happening internally in the lives of myself and my family.
Although I have to admit that I was proud at the church Easter breakfast when we received at least three compliments on how well-behaved our children were. A few years ago, their behavior would have been all I was thinking about as we ate but I can honestly say that yesterday, I just enjoyed being there with them :)
