This past week hasn't gone well. Actually, it started going downhill on Wednesday. I'm not going to get into my personal stuff right now but I will let you in on some of the kid stuff.
Part of the reason I didn't want to blog was because I don't want to come across as a complainer. But here goes anyway:
Anthony has struggled all week at home, at school, at church and at the Club. My debit card is missing and I was getting ready to go out of town. I had my past/present collision on Thursday. Friday morning, I was supposed to get Zeke on his bus by 6:30am but he woke up at 5:30 with a bloody nose that wouldn't quit. It's happened lots before, but the timing was really bad. We had to decide whether or not to take Anthony on the trip, knowing he probably couldn't handle it, nor could I handle him appropriately by myself with 3 other kids and no husband.
This is how it played out:
Steve stayed home to work Friday and Saturday.
Brittney stayed home to work and earn some money.
I ended up sending Taylor with my folks.
Zeke made it to his bus on time to head to Pierre for special Olympics basketball Friday & Saturday.
Anthony stayed home with Steve, Brit & Gerald. I told him he was obviously very stressed and we needed to keep everyone safe, including him. He threatened the staff at the club on thurs with breaking their windows and putting holes in the walls, among other things. By the time I left home on Friday, he had destroyed his bedroom, including his clothes, mattress and dresser.
I traveled with Riley & Sophia and listened to a lot of relaxing music for five hours.
Sophia woke up screaming quite a few times during the night so I've already had quite a bit of coffee this morning!
