Difficult day yesterday. Morning was challenging for me and then Nan and I had to make the difficult decision not to drive 5+ hours to Iowa for our friend Dawn's surprise 40th birthday party. We both wanted so much to be there for her but the weather down there was not looking good. Nan and I had to be content with a lunch at Olive Garden in Sioux Falls and then we drove back home separately.


So, Dawn, know that we were there in spirit and that your oldest and dearest friends will celebrate with you this summer when the weather decides to cooperate!!! I'm keeping your card so I can give it to you in person ;)
