Happy and sad today. I ran into my friend tonight and, as happy as I was to see her, I'm really sad that she's moving. I've known she's leaving for the past few months but we're both so busy that it's been easy to not think about it. We were laughing together for a few minutes tonight and as she gave me a hug I almost started crying. And so did she. We're getting together tomorrow night for a real chat after our kids are in bed. I don't really ever cry and neither does she but I already warned her that tomorrow I'm letting the tears flow if I want to. She's ok with that :)
