This was the only contact and information we received by phone and then by letter
after three and a half weeks of investigation.

  1. I was just going to write one word: "duh"! but decided that was unkind so I won't. Instead I will say that you guys are amazing parents and you experience 24/7 what the rest of us will never have to go through in a lifetime! Your friends and family know the real you and how you parent and we say "WOW"! You're not perfect, but who of us is! Keep on loving, praying and persevering! It will be worth it all someday! Having said that, please call me when you need a few minutes on your own! I can usually drop everything and come in and help. Remember I have the grandparent membership to the Childen's Museum! (Thanks Scott and Mary Jeanne for that gift!)

  2. I'm not as polite as Connie is, so I'll be the one to say "DUH!!!!" :)

Seriously, though, I second everything she said (up til the grandparent part). You two are amazing and those who know you (and some who don't, I'm sure) see that. Keep doing what you're doing. The rest of us will keep praying. :)

  3. Ugh. Make sure you work on those discipline techniques. Are you kidding me?? Sorry, I'm even less polite. You could model for other parents how to discipline and parent. You both are amazing.

  4. You know, I get really upset at people that "don't have a clue" and make rules and regulations for people and they have never or won't ever be in the situation that they are making rules for!!! (comes from a farm wife - government regs!) I do not know how you keep doing what you are doing, but keep doing it! You are an amazing family and we love you all! We'll keep praying for the kids and for your decisions as you raise them. One of these days, you will see some lives change that didn't ever have a chance before! Aunt Sharon
