Today was a day of small projects.
I hung up the shelf with the pens/scissors etc.
.
I hung the second one over Sophia's desk.

She loves to work at her desk when I work at mine.

The original washer and dryer were in the basement when we moved in so we hauled them out for the city-wide spring cleanup a few weeks ago. When we moved our washer and dryer, we discovered that there was never an outside vent for the dryer, the dryer needed a new big outlet and there was no outlet in for the washer. My dad came to our rescue and put up lights in the laundry room, put in the correct outlets and figured out how to vent the dryer, which was a project in itself.
The easiest spot to place the vent on the outside wall was close to the natural gas line and meter. Keith came to our rescue and answered our questions about placement but that meant that the vent had to be placed farther away than anticipated. All that was completed the other day but we still needed our plumber to come and rotate the waterlines for us. He came today and finished that project.
It's been fun to work with him because I knew him from grade school. He was younger than me but lived close to my parents so it's been interesting to reconnect. Plus, we know we can trust him.
The picture doesn't look like much but we're so happy to have it all put together and working. I think I'm finally caught up on laundry. Now on to washing sheets and bedding :)

In between Anthony's baseball practice and Riley's baseball practice tonight, I made a run to the storage shed and filled up my van.
One more load with the trailer and I think were done with the storage shed!
