Being the perfect parents we are, this morning all of our children are currently sitting around the table eating breakfast and quietly smiling and chatting with each other about the upcoming day.
Whatever!!!
With 6 children, odds are that at least one child at any given time will be having a meltdown. The current child is Taylor. Right now she's thrashing on the kitchen floor screaming at the top of her lungs. She doesn't understand why we wouldn't let her go with Steve and Anthony this morning to baseball. The reason she can't go is because she caused no end of grief for Steve yesterday. So there was no way I was sending her with him this morning while he's running the scoreboard at the state baseball tournament. I'll take my Taylor turn today. So with Riley and Brittney each spending the night with friends last night, that means it'll be just me, Sophia, Zeke and Taylor for church this morning. Oh, by the way, guess which toddler is now sound asleep in my bed! (See previous post)
