They began boarding late for the Portland flight. Probably to bump the four seats they overbooked. When we were finally able to board, we scanned our tickets at the gate and entered the hallway that usually leads to the plane. Instead, we walked around a corner, down two sets of cement steps (really fun with my knee issue) and down a long corridor. We passed 8 other gate doors before finally coming to ours. We then walked outside, down a small tramp and then up stairs that were pushed up against the plane. I seriously walked farther from the gate to the plane than I did from gate to gate in the airport!
Needless to say, it's not a very big plane. 48 seats I think. But as long as one of them is mine, it's all good.
Next stop, Portland!!! Kim will pick me up at the airport and we'll drive a couple hours to spend the day in Seattle.
