Turkey Day

Yesterday was a longggggg day. Started out packing for my trip, then running errands, then to the church for the remainder of the day. Brittney wanted to help so she went with me. Rebecca did most of the work and lynda, Brit and I just helped her out. By 5 pm, we had ten 20lb turkeys cooked and deboned, 50lbs of potatoes peeled, cooked and mashed, and ginormous bowls of fruit jello ready to go to feed the college kids.

As soon as that was done, I headed to the foyer to help organize the Guatemala rummage sale fundraiser. Made it home by 8pm, I think.

I pushed a little to hard with my knee yesterday.  This week, I've seen an ortho Dr, had lots of x rays and had an MIR. They think I tore my miniscus in my knee. It's hurt like crazy a lot over the past month but I can't let it slow me down. There's too much to do. But I'm kind of paying for it today.

Anyway, on to more exciting news: MY TRIP!
